Christina Aguilera is set to record a duet with soul sensation Joss Stone.
The Soul Sessions star, 17, has spoken on the phone to the Aguilera about working together in the future but won't confirm when the collaboration will take place.
Stone explains, "I spoke to her really briefly the other day.
"I was talking to photographer David LaChapelle on the phone about my video and he said, 'Someone wants a word with you.'
"It was Christina. She told me she liked my voice and I asked her whether she'd like to do something together."
Meanwhile, it has been announced that Joss Stone has recorded a duet with Mick Jagger, to be released for Christmas. The 17-year-old and 61-year-old Rolling Stone have recorded Lonely This Christmas, a 1974 number one by glam rockers Mud. The pair have worked on the track at London's Abbey Road studios after coming together for a film project. Stone also sings a version of Alfie, the title song of a remake of the 1960s Michael Caine movie starring Jude Law.
