With her black hair flailing wildly, and dressed in a black floor-length coat with strips, Christina Aguilera shows off her new grown up image during her world Stripped tour.
Performing at the Wembley Arena, the former blonde bombshell casts aside her platinum blonde hair and blue-eyed Britney Spears innocence for an updated, ‘darker’ and more adult image.
The drastic change coincides with her current world tour, which kicked off in June 2003 in the US, where she teamed up with hot pop favourite Justin Timberlake.
It’s not the first time her image has been adapted. The once sweet and innocent looking pop star turned heads when she appeared in the video for Lady Marmalade in suspenders and a flesh-baring corset, and has become a lot raunchier in recent hits like Dirrty, where she was featured in little more than a bikini top and leather chaps.
The award-winning singer is also no stranger to switching hair styles – she has sported braids and hair extensions, while for the Dirrty video, she dyed her hair in black and white.
