2003-11-06 ... AGUILERA BRINGS DIVA BEHAVIOUR TO DUBLIN - REVIEW
Well what a weekend it was with the rollercoaster of events which included Christina Aguilera's concert, The Late Late Show's tribute to Jim Sheridan, and the IFTA's.

Global Pop sensation Christina Aguilera flew into Dublin on Wednesday a couple of days before her Point Depot gig to trace her roots (no not the black ones) as she is half Irish on her mother's side.

Ahead of her concert she partied in the capital and showed she has still has diva tendencies booking out two entire floors of Dublin's biggest pub Cafe en Seine for a quiet drink with a friend, moved from the Westbury Hotel to the Merrion Hotel, demanded a private room in the trendy Unicorn restaurant, started crying during her meal after a phone call to her boyfriend, and had bodyguards charge at any photographers that tried to photograph her... Not bad!

And across town from Christina's sell out show on Friday night there was another bunch of celebrities gathering to celebrate Jim Sheridan's career on the Late Late Show, and the only diva behaviour here was from no-show Bertie Ahern.

Halloween night saw stars gather on Pat Kenny's show post the Premiere of Jim's new movie In America which took place the night before.

Stars such as Bono, The Edge, Andrea Corr, and Samantha Morton joined Jim and his family on the show. ShowBiz Ireland photographed Andrea Corr with Gavin Friday's arm around her again - are they trying very hard to tell us something very simple?

The absentee Taoiseach Bertie Ahern apparently won't appear on Pat's show after the treatment a member of his party got from the audience on a previous occasion. Meow!

Handbags and Gladrags singer Rod Stewart also appeared on the show.
