Christina was desperate to kiss Britney Spears during the pair's raunchy performance at the MTV Video Music Awards - but the straight-laced superstar turned her down.
The trio made newspaper and magazine headlines around the world after performing a rendition of Madonna's "Like a Virgin", before both lining up for a lingering smooch with the "Material Girl" at the glitzy bash in August.
But while Christina enjoyed locking lips with the self-styled Queen of Pop, she'd rather have kissed Britney.
Aguilera explains, "I was up for kissing Britney. But Britney wasn't."
The sexy singer also accuses Spears of snubbing her during performance practice sessions.
She adds, "She seemed very distant, even during rehearsals. Every time I tried to tried to start a conversation with her - well, lets just say she seemed nervous the whole time.
"I wanted to reach out to her because I feel she needs somebody in her life right now to guide her."
