Veteran singer Bette Midler has slammed Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears for stealing her outrageous clothing ideas - and not thanking her.
Midler insists her colourful and skimpy outfits "broke down the doors" for today's pop superstars.
But she says Britney and Christina's outrageous stage outfits have made it difficult for her to dress provocatively.
She says, "These days you are not considered a professional entertainer unless you dress like a ho.
"I went to Christina's last show and she was prancing around in a G-string, and do any of these girls ever call me and say, 'Thankyou?'
"I opened the door for trashy singers with bad taste and big t**s and don't you forget it, babe. I have a patent on that.
"Ever since Britney performed in nothing but a live snake, one simply doesn't know what to wear. The trouble with snakes is you can't wear them while they're digesting."
